Follow Fritz on his fascinating journey from homelessness all the way to the Ritz!
Fritz is the Havachin pup that didn’t fit in.
While living in a pet store, Fritz is overlooked and always left behind.
The visitors to the pet store along with Chuck the Chihuahua and Billy the Bichon relentlessly taunt Fritz. They tell Fritz that he’s not purebred, and his fur is not all one color so who would want to give him a home?
Fritz is desperate to be accepted and find what he wants most, a forever home.
As the story unfolds, Fritz encounters many adventures, and some misadventures, after he escapes the pet store and starts his journey to the Ritz!
Along the way Fritz meets many memorable characters.
The story of Fritz was inspired by a real Havachin pup!
September 25, 2011 Fritz was born. Sadly, Fritz spent the next five months being shipped from pet store to pet store. Finally, on February 17, 2012, it happened, Fritz found his forever home!
Now, instead of fighting for his food and sleeping in a corner, Fritz enjoys homemade dinners and his favorite peanut butter treats. Fritz also loves to get tummy rubs and run around his big backyard. Fritz is especially fond of a red haired canine named Jake Kreuzer, his next door neighbor. Jake and Fritz run the fence line and share an occasional sloppy kiss! It would appear Fritz has a liking for redheads, not only is his best bud Jake a redhead, Fritz’s forever mom is a redhead too!
